2012

2012 has been another exceptional year for INCCA-NA. Our ambitious goal of preserving artists’ legacies through collaborations between artists, conservators, curators and educators continued to become a reality. Our three programs, The Artist Interview Workshop, Artist Research Project and Voice of the Artist, all came to fruition with the help of many supporters, funders and institutional partners. These projects are bringing together key stakeholders across North America to develop knowledge, establish better preservation practice, and deepen the understanding required for the future presentation and preservation of contemporary art. We were pleased to have programs reaching new audiences in California, the District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, New York, and Washington.

2011

INCCA-NA had a year of significant growth in 2011. Incorporated in New York State as a non-profit educational organization in 2009, INCCA-NA established its new office in 2011 at the Bobst Library of New York University. The office brings us closer to artists and professional colleagues, and in partnership with the Institute of Fine Arts at NYU we will provide new opportunities for students and faculty.
