Robin Li
Robin Li is a historian and writer, working on a book project currently titled, “How We Remember & Other Stories.” Recently, Robin completed the first phase of an oral history project for the University of Washington Women’s Center documenting the lives and impact of Asian American women activists in Seattle over the last forty years. Prior to this, she worked at the University of California at Berkeley as the Director of the Advanced Oral History Summer Institute and as a research historian for the Oral History Center at the Bancroft Library. She received her B.A. from Vassar College and a Ph.D. in American Culture from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Her research centers on narrative memory, identity formation, and how historical narratives work to triangulate recognition between individuals and groups.
