Haley Moyse Fenning
Haley Moyse Fenning is a researcher and advocate dedicated to ensuring equitable access to the work and ideas of contemporary artists. Moyse Fenning is completing her PhD at the University of Sussex, where her research centers on evaluating and improving museum practices to bring overlooked artist narratives to new audiences. She holds an MA in Art History and Museum Curating, for which she conducted extensive interviews with women and nonbinary street artists in the San Francisco Bay Area. Previously, Moyse Fenning served as the National Life Stories Administrator at the British Library, collaborating on award-winning research (Royal Historical Society Prize for Public History) and editing the journal Oral History. Her background includes internships at The Getty, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), and she has curated and moderated public programs for the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts and Autograph ABP. She is currently Head of Impact for London-based art and mental health charity, Hospital Rooms, and co-author of the first global study to evaluate the impact of murals in hospitals.
