Hannah M. Yoo
Hannah M. Yoo is curator of public programs at the Fowler Museum at UCLA. A curator, educator, and cultural programmer with over a decade of experience, her practice is rooted in care-centered and equity-driven approaches that prioritize sustained relationships, community collaboration, and dialogic public engagement—often amplifying underrepresented voices and fostering cross-cultural understanding. Previously, she served as assistant curator for exhibition projects at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, where she organized pan-Asian exhibitions and special curatorial initiatives. She has also held research and curatorial positions at the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). In addition to her museum work, she was a steering committee member and co-chair of the production committee at GYOPO, a Los Angeles–based collective of diasporic Korean artists, writers, and cultural producers. She holds an MA in East Asian Studies with a focus on art history from Stanford University and a BA in Art History, Theory, and Criticism from the University of California, San Diego.
